With the Cross Country Team leading the way on Wednesday September 25th, the entire school went outside after recess in the wet weather to run in support of Terry Fox.

Cross Country Meet #1

We had fantastic weather for our first race! The course was a bit shorter than last year but the returning runners still said it was tough because they basically sprinted the entire way. We have two more races coming up the next two Tuesdays. Cross country runners will lead the school warm up for the Terry Fox run as well. Well done runners!

Your healthy back-to-school guide

As summer winds down, it’s time to gear up for a healthy back-to-school season. Set the stage for a smooth transition back to school. Here are some practical tips to get you started.

Prioritize sleep

Ensuring your child gets enough sleep is an important part of a healthy back-to-school routine. Quality sleep helps with concentration, mood and overall well-being. In the weeks leading up to the start of school, gradually adjust your child’s sleep schedule so they can adapt to the new routine. Aim for nine to 11 hours of quality sleep per night.
