Welcome to Summer!

Bell Schedule and Office Hours * please note that the school office is closed during the summer (July 3rd - August 31st)

Families new to the area wishing to register, please visit our website for Registration Information and email us at sandyhill@abbyschools.ca with the appropriate paperwork. We will reply after August 31st. 

We will post information for families to know where to go on the first day of school on the website and on the front windows of the school the last week of August.  Students will return as grade groups and spend the week getting to know each other and staff.  We will then put together balanced classes and test out groups.  No class lists will be posted. Please do not request new teachers with previous teachers and allow us to do this important work of find the best spots for everyone.

Thank you for your understanding and support with this process by getting your child excited for school and meeting many new friends in September. 

First day of school - Tuesday September 8th – ½ DAY, DISMISSAL AT 11:35am   

Please don’t forget a filled and labelled water bottle and a peanut free recess snack.

Registered kindergarten families should have an interview session scheduled for the first week of school and their group and gradual entry schedule. School maps will also be posted at the front of the school and additional information can be found on at our welcome to kindergarten announcement.

School Supply Lists for the 2026/2027 school year are posted on our school website. There is an option to purchase kits through School Start. Please visit our website for more information.

If you are looking for before and afterschool care, we have both Hand in Hand and our Montessori Preschool programs on site in our portables. You can find more information under the Programs tab on our school website.
