Cross Country # 2

The cross country team ran under blue skies; breathing crisp air, and crunching leaves under foot. They had perfect conditions for running. All runners have been training hard and finished well. So proud of the Sandy Hill Suns!

Cross Country #1

We were so excited to be able to host a cross country running event last Wednesday! The grade 4 and 5 team has been training by running 1.5 km around the school once a week and then trying to squeeze in another 10 minute run on their every weekend. The Sandy Hill team performed very well; having many participants receive ribbons for finishing in the top twenty and all of the members finishing strong with limited walking breaks. English students train Mondays at lunch and French students train Tuesdays at lunch. We race again next Wednesday.

Toti:ltcha - School Strategy for 2021-2022

As we begin to enter into September, I would like to extend a heartfelt welcome back to all to what we hope will be a wonderful school year. As we look forward to the opportunities in the weeks and months ahead, I must again extend a sincere thanks to our staff for getting us through last year. What we accomplished in British Columbia, and particularly here in Abbotsford, was truly amazing. Our society owes a debt of gratitude to the teachers, support staff, principals and managers who pulled together to care for our students when they needed us most.
