Salmon Release in Division 18

Division 18 walked to Stoney Creek to release the salmon fry that were given to the school as eyed-eggs in January through the Federal Fisheries and Oceans program Salmonids in the Classroom. Each salmon female lays about 3000 eggs. After growing and traveling through the Fraser River to the Pacific Ocean they will return to the same stream a few years later to lay their own eggs.
