1st Freezie Friday!

For our grade 5 student's legacy project they decided to assist with raising funds for the accessible playground. With that in mind they decided to create Freezie Friday's! For the month of May, every Friday, the grade 5 students will sell freezies after the lunch eating period at the back of the school. $1 (or more) per freezie with a limit of 1 per student. 

They sold out their first day and raised $403.15! What a fantastic job!

On a side note - the accessible playground addition has become a very important issue to the students. Over the weekend, students in Division 3 and 4 had a lemonade stand and donated half of their sales in the amount of $35 to the accessible playground addition. Thank you!
