Adopt a Family

This year at Sandy Hill Elementary we will be once again participating in sponsoring a family in Abbotsford through the Archway Community Services Program. Collection will end on December 9th.

The Sponsor-a-Family Program is a rewarding way for a school to be involved in helping a family at Christmas. Each Sponsor (our school community) is asked to provide the food hamper, dinner supplies and gifts for their matched family. These items will be purchased with the money brought in by students and staff.

It is our hope that each student can contribute a toonie (or more) to this amazing and rewarding experience so together we can make the season come alive for a family. All money can be brought in and given directly to the classroom teacher as soon as possible.

If you wish to donate a specific item (purchase yourself and donate to the family), we ask that you reach out to your child’s teacher or email Mrs. Adi (sherri.adi@abbyschools.ca) or Mrs. Roberts (jill.roberts@abbyschools.ca) directly to see what is specifically needed and wished for.
