Thank you from Christmas Neighbour

The Sandy Hill community was able to help 3 families through the Christmas Neighbour project. 2 families of 6, 1 family of 3 and 1 senior. 

Please see below for a lovely thank you that was received at the school.

To the parents who helped in any capacity-

I want to give you ALL my heartfelt thanks.

I was fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of the Archway Christmas Neighbor Hamper that you so thoughtfully put together. 

The slippers fit. The candle was lit for Christmas eve.

The food goes a LONG way in helping me to be more food secure and not worry where my next healthy meal is coming from.

Your generosity had lifted my spirits and restored much of my faith in humanity. The impact of this I've felt deeply and will NOT soon be forgotten.

If possible, I would like this letter to be read out to each of the classes who were involved so that ALL involved might receive the thanks I'm sending their way. If the parents of the kids could get this message too, that would be the icing on the cake. 

I had a much easier and merrier Christmas thanks to you all. May the NEW YEAR bring you love, laughter, and joy."
